Year 3: Final Major Project

For my Final Major Project I chose to brand my uncle drag racing team. His current teams identity is based in the 60's so I wanted to bring it up to date with a more modern design.

Yea 3: D&AD

The video above was entered for the 2010 D&AD competion. The brief I chose was a promotional video for their new Monday movie night. My idea was to use kinetic typography and famous lines from films. I has been used before but it was something that I've wanted to try for a while. After Effects was also used to create this video.

Year 3: MTV

This post was my first brief of the 3rd year at University. I had to create a new MTV channel that would be aired in Europe. My deliverables were a logo, 5 second sting, next, now and later and finally the graphics to be put on a music video ( MTV logo must be included in that also). My concept was based on early 90's hip hop and its culture, this involved me lookin at artists such as The Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff, also other artists like Run DMC and Sugarhill Gang. All videos were made on Adobe After Effects

Year 2: Flesh

The brief for this project was to do with colour, I had to create a hard back pop up book based on a colour. The colour I was given was Flesh! with this colour I interpreted it to a current situation, at that time Barack Obama was running for president so I thought he would have been the perfect subject.

Year 2: UCA freelance

My University (UCA Farnham) had a freelance competion where they wanted students to design a way to help visitors navigate their way around the University. The thought behind my idea was to base it on the London Underground. Starting from the court yard the A4 map would then point them in the direction of the room required. Each course would be colour coded with the station logo at the door of each room.

Year 2: Akzidenz Grotesk

The brief here was to advertise a font for faces.co.uk using a poster and flash animation. The font I was given was Akzidenz Grotesk. I designed the poster around the idea of less is more!

Year 2: Boeing

The brief here was to design a new airline that will be used on a boeing 737. I had to design each area of the airline starting from the name to the liveries. Brand guidelines were also put together to run through the brand as a whole.

Year 1: Last Line of Defence

The poster was my first major project of the degree. the brief was to design a poster to help promote the Farnham Maltings production named The Last Line of Defence.
